every so often, roughly 2-3 times a year, i'll be involved with an intimate moment in a friend's life - getting to shoot their engagement photos. it has always been difficult for me to take on too many shoots like this; for me to properly shoot a couple, the shoot can't fall into a template or routine of shoots that have come before it. the result, hopefully, is a reflection on the connection present between the two getting married. a couple like no other should be depicted like none other.
