BIO

I am a Pakistani-American from New York, with creative disciplines in graphic design, photography, videography, and branding. Each has come with growing expertise through freelancing creative projects and branded work over the past ten years. I come with a BS in Finance and Marketing from the Stern School of Business at NYU and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis' Olin Business School. They help. 

My photography hovers around different forms of portraiture - candid captures of friends, narrative, editorial, and photojournalistic. The subject matter of my work largely focuses on the South Asian community. We have a beautiful spectrum of faces, skin tones, and personalities to share.

"yeahokayali" is the response stemming from those who dismiss my career choice as an artist, who also find it unreasonable when I challenge questionable opinions within friend groups and the community. I decided to take this dismissiveness head on and persistently pursue my career further, insisting that much more commentary is necessary to critically examine our worst behaviors and habits.
